Terms & Returns
At Modelspeed we pride ourselves on our superb customer service and conform to the Distance Selling Regulations, which are designed to protect you when buying items by Mail Order.
New Items - Refund / Exchange
If you make a purchase from Modelspeed but upon receipt of the goods realise you have ordered the wrong item, or you have just changed your mind. Simply return the goods, unused, in the original packaging and within 14 days for a full refund or replacement. There is no need to contact us before you make a return unless you would like our help and advice in choosing an alternative.
- Goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt.
- Goods must be in original packaging.
- Goods must not have been fitted or used.
- Goods must be accompanied with a copy of your receipt and a note detailing the reason for return.
- Do not tape up, or attach labels direct to the retail packaging, please wrap the product first.
- We cannot refund any postage charges under these circumstances.
- We reserve the right to deduct a handling fee for any items returned to us in an unsatisfactory condition.
New Items - Packing Errors or Damaged in Transit
We do aim to get every order we despatch correct. However, we are only human so may make a mistake on the odd occasion!
If we have sent you an inncorrect item which differs from that listed on your receipt we will be happy to make an exchange and pay your first class postage costs for returning the item (for large or high value items, please contact us and we will arrange a courier uplift)
If you should receive an item which has become damaged in transit, please inform us as soon as possible. Any damaged in transit item must be returned to Modelspeed if a replacement or a refund is to be issued.

Faulty or Damaged Goods
All goods purchased from Modelspeed are covered by a manufacturers warranty.
We cannot grant a full refund when damage to the goods was caused by the customers negligence.
The duration of the warranty may vary from product to product. A warranty will generally cover manufacturing faults and defects but do not cover damage caused by crashing, abuse, water ingress or general wear and tear, etc.
If you feel that an item you have purchased from Modelspeed has developed a fault then please contact us before returning it as many problems may be solved without you incurring postage costs.

If the goods need to be returned

- Goods should be accompanied with a copy of the receipt and a note detailing the problem.
